January 29th

I got a little ahead today! Woot!

This is my favorite that I made today....just kind of came together. Still could use a little technical work, but I like it the way it is!

January 28th

Not much to say about this....gel medium, found images and sheet music. Turned out ok.

January 27th

This is beeswax background, with transparency over the top--it was an experiment....that didn't work out too well. It was supposed to dry clear...but, NOPE! LOL

January 26th

Ok--so, I am using the 365 day challenge to try things I haven't tried before....practice, not expecting perfection in the beginning...

That being said...here is my first attempt at Teesha Moore style art. I learned several things...one of which is that the black marker I used, smears! LOL....will use something different next time I try this technique!

January 25th

This is another line-drawing attempt!

January 24th

Today is another catch-up day...hoping to get all caught up, but if not tomorrow is always another day!

This ATC is a line drawing I drew following an on-line tutorial.

January 15th

Background using punchinella for stencils, inks and embossing. Found images. The gel medium kind of smeared the image, but gave it kind of an odd look that fit the image...so, it didnt get thrown in file 13!

January 14th

Shaving cream and food coloring background. Found image. This ATC is for the Wings and Crowns--Christmas theme swap that I am hosting on AFA.

January 13th

January 8th

January 7th

Found image, rubber stamping, distress inks. Odd but fun!

January 6th

Beeswax and napkin background. Playing around with layering more than one napkin! Found image and dimensional paint. Everyone was working on beautiful pears...notice the pear in the background behind the moon....I came to the pear party! Whoo Hoo!

January 5th

Beeswax and napkin background. Found images. Dimensional ink border. I really wanted some kind of text on this...but, couldn't think of something I liked. Oh well, maybe later I can add something witty!

January 4th

Background--gel medium and napkin. Found images. Dimensional paints and glitter paint. This angel really wanted to get used! But, itsn't it a little scary that the butterfly is as big as her head! Whoops! LOL

January 3rd

Background acryllic paints and music sheet. Rubber stamped image on text page with watercolor crayons. I have no idea what this saying means! LOL...it just appealed to me when I saw it. A little quirky is a good thing, right?

January 2nd

Gargolye image from magazine. Background rubber stamped and distress inked. Black mulberry paper added with gel medium. I think he needs a special name--so busy contemplating all the important things in his life!

January 1st

The leaf is rubber stamped onto music sheet.. background is text sheet and mulberry paper all gel mediumed together! Butterfly sticker to finish it off.

Practice makes...well, if not perfect at least adequate!

I have spent quite a while playing around here and finding out how to do what! I am going to post pictures of ATCs I have done so far this year for the 365 challenge. I am not all the way caught up--but I am on the road at least!
